Finish: Market Square Dundalk

Transport: There will be transport provided at the finish line back to Newry.

 

Pure Running Half Marathon Series

PRHS

The Dune Half is the 1st event in the Pure Running 2018 Half Marathon Series.



Registration

Online registration closes Thursday the 8th of February. Registration will also be available during pack collections, see Pack Collections below for more details. Medals are not guaranteed when registering at pack collections.


The Route

After meeting with An Garda Siochana and the engineer from Dundalk Council we have had to alter this years DUNE route. We hope you like it.

Pack Collection

Pack collection will be available in the Quays Shopping Centre Newry on Friday 9th from 1900hrs to 2100hrs and Tommy the Bikes on Saturday 10th from 10am to Noon.
Packs can also be collected on race day in the Quays from 7.30am to 9.15am but we advise runners to come early, anyone coming after 9.15 will not get a race pack and will not be able to run.
Multiple pack collection is welcome but if possible please have a list with names and age.


Buses

Buses will be running from outside Eoins bar Dundalk to Newry from 7.30 am with the last bus leaving at 8.45am.
Buses are first come first served and will leave when full.
Please also note it is every runners OWN RESPONSIBILITY to be on the start line for 10am.
Buses will then be stationed at the finish line to bring runners back to Newry after the race, again they will leave on demand with estimated last bus around 2pm.


Baggage

A free baggage drop will be inside the door of the Quays, bags will then be taken to Dundalk for when you finish.

Water Stops

There will be a water stop at 4 mile, 9 mile and the finish line.


Pacers

Pacers will be 1.30 1.35 1.40 1.45 1.50 1.55 2.00 2.05 2.10 2.15. 


Additional info

Eoins bar are providing soup/tea/coffee for runners so call in and see the guys there for post race refreshments.
